We were banned, barred, throw out of places, fights broke out ( me usually twatting someone with my bass..) etc etc blah blah .. sheer rock an roll rampage .. naff as fook "Glamesque tuneage" !?! We'd travel across country to play to pretty much no-one .. London, St Andrews, Oxford, Bedford (Angel ..) an such like.. soul destroying tho huh ? .. funny now i look back .. i was the only one one the dole, everyone else was working good jobs and such like, and to try get us "heading in the right direction", i forsake some new equipment needs to buy a Transit Van .. fooking thing kept breaking down everywhere .. an' i hadnt passed my test!!! .. now i know what they meant when they said 'shit like that toughens up a band.'. "treading the boards" an all that malarkey .. jeesssshhh, i guess they were right all along ;0 ) .. (turned into a a right little rant that huh ? .. lol .. rant over) |
