Quite a strange song to hear after your used to hearing Mr Mercury singing. I thought I'd share this with ya all. But then again Lemmy was one of my heroes during my teenage years... such a long time ago!

Regardless of how political (for the time) or whether the singer was gay, I really enjoyed these songs.These were some of my favourite songs during my final years at school, during the Punk and New Wave era. There were other bands at the time too The Pistols, Sham 69, Tonight, The Jam, Boomtown Rats etc.. Probably gonna get knocked/slated, for posting these songs here, especially the one song that I've also posted here (although that was not a favourite), just thought it was not right to miss it off. Anyway 2468 Motorway was covered by the Gutter Cats in later years (Stevo do we have a version anywhere?) and I still think that it is/was a great tune.
Anyway a posting like this must have a story behind it so here ya go: I actually met Tom Robinson.... walkin down our street in Cheylesmore , Coventry, about 1978. He stopped to ask me where the nearest launderette was!! He'd just got off the train as the band were playin Warwick University (just happens I work there now too!) that night. I got my Motorway single autographed and still have it to this day.
