Drummers are bassists bro ! .. its all about good timing and a solid groove, you groove on the kit as you do the bass, the bass is indeed an extension of the kit/ it just warms the accents and changes and nits the whole backbone of a band and its sound, guitarists then only put the icing on the cake with structure and "Hook lines" / counter melodies, and then as usual the singer puts the icing on the cake and fucks it all up ! .. ibmlhlsfh (i bet you play a bit of kit huh Andy, you played bass for a while, .. was you any good man? .. hows stuff Andy?

Some people hey Andy, born sceptics, I remember the gig well, you had the crowd in the palm of your hand and they both said afterwards how much they had enjoyed it

Marshy, Sorry I am/was never a master of of the instruments! I swopped from bass/vocals to just vocals as it was an easy option I thought, plus a vacancy for a vocalist came along and just stuck with it. Only played bass as it seemed a hell of a lot easier than the guitar at the time, plus a hero at the time was Lemmy and he made it sound so easy.
I have a bash around on the drums at home now and then, but not very good I'm afraid.

Now, I came home from work the other night and could hear the drums being and played and thought to myself ' Wow Tyla's improving!', only to walk into the livin room to find Tyla sitting watching TV!!! So who 's on the drums I asked, and to my amazement found out my 2 year old daughter (Siam) was playin' them! Nothing special mind but her timing seemed good!
